International Yoga Day: Leaders, Ministers take part in events held across country
International Yoga Day is celebrated on June 21. On the occasion 9th International Yoga Day, leaders and ministers across the country performed yoga on Wednesday. The ministers and leaders urged the citizens to actively participate in the programs today and raised awareness about the numerous benefits of yoga. They also emphasised the important role yoga plays in the overall development of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. The theme of the 9th International Yoga Day is 'Yoga For Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,' i.e. Yoga for the welfare of all in the form of 'One World, One Family. It emphasises the spirit of Yoga, which unites everyone and takes them in stride. Yoga-related programs are being held all across the nation in celebration.
