Pakistan's Caretaker Interior Minister Sarfaraz Ahmed Bugti has said that facilities provided to former Prime Minister Imran Khan in jail are more than those provided to an ordinary prisoner, Dawn newspaper reported.
Pakistan's former Prime Minsiter Imran Khan, who was arrested last week in the Toshakahana case, has expressed his sadness about staying in jail and said that he doesn't stay there.
He further said that the court directed to keep the PTI chief at the Adiala Jail but he was shifted to the Attock Jail. He added that there is a lack of facilities at the Attock Jail where "B Class" facilities are not provided, ARY News reported.
"We will fill jails, they [authorities] will have no space left to hide," Khan said while addressing the audience through his televised video and warned the Pakistan Democratic Movement-led (PDM) government.
According to Geo News, Khan's comments come in the wake of sedition cases filed against his party's Senior Vice-President Fawad Chaudhry and former member of National Assembly Shandana Gulzar, while Senator Azam Swati and Shahbaz Gill were booked earlier for speaking against the military.
