Following the inauguration of the Talent Academy at Kalinga Stadium on Tuesday, Chief of Global Football Development at FIFA and former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said that the focus of the main initiative is to improve Indian Football.
The MoU between the two was signed by the AIFF President Kalyan Chaubey and R Vineel Krishna, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Department of Sports and Youth Services, Government of Odisha. Tushar Kanti Behera, Sports Minister of Odisha was present, as per a press release from All India Football
The AIFF-FIFA academy, to be launched under the FIFA Talent Development Scheme, will be inaugurated by Arsene Wenger, the Chief of Global Football Development, FIFA and former manager of the English football club, Arsenal.
