Surya's highest individual score in T20Is came at Trent Bridge as India attempted to chase down England's massive total of 215/7. His 117 featured 20 boundaries, including six maximums. But his efforts were not enough to clinch victory. 

68 from 40 balls vs South Africa – October 2022, Perth

Gautam Gambhir described this inning as one of the best Surya knocks he had ever seen. As wickets continued to tumble down on one end, the right-handed batter played some exceptional cricket against a strong South African bowling line-up. However, his efforts were not enough as South Africa chased down the target and won by five wickets. 

51* from 25 balls vs Netherlands – October 2022, Sydney

During India's clash against the Netherlands, the Men in Blue were scoring at a slower rate than usual. Surya arrived on the crease and raced to a quick and unbeaten half-century, finishing with a strike rate of 204. 

57 from 31 balls vs England – March 2021, Ahmedabad

This was one of the matches where Surya came in and had an instant impact on the game. Coming at number three, Surya took on the bowlers, sticking to his usual style of play. after facing just 31 balls he was walking back to the pavilion but with a half-century scoring three sixes and six fours. 

76 from 44 balls vs West Indies – August 2022, Basseterre

Surya turned up the heat while chasing 165 to win against West Indies. By the time Surya got dismissed the game was already done and dusted and the Men in Blue clinched the victory.
